Prof. DAVID SHIUNG received the B.S. degree from the National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1995, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the National Taiwan University, Taipei City, Taiwan, in 1997 and 2002, respectively, all in electrical engineering. He designed communication ASICs at Novatek and Mediatek Semiconductor Corporation, Hsinchu, from 2002 to 2007. From 2007 to 2008, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Communication Engineering, National Taiwan University. He joined National Changhua University of Education, Changhua City, Taiwan in 2008 and is currently a Professor with the Department of Electronics Engineering. He served as a Guest Editor for the Special Section on Green Signal Processing for Wireless Communications and Networking of IEEE ACCESS in 2018. His research interests include signal processing for wireless communication and astronomical imaging.
