Prof. Rodrigo Jardim Riella

Prof. Rodrigo Jardim Riella holds a degree in Electrical Industrial Engineering with an emphasis on Electronics from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (2001), a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Informatics from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (2004) and a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Informatics from the Federal Technological University of Paraná ( 2008). He is currently a senior researcher at the Institute of Technology for Development-Lactec and an adjunct professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at UFPR. He has experience in the areas of Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, having coordinated and developed research and development projects on the following topics: Intelligent electrical energy measurement systems, Electrical Energy Quality, Smart Grids, Telecommunications applied to monitoring and control of electrical systems. He has also developed biomedical applications with an emphasis on automatic recognition of biological signals and signal processing systems for musical instruments.
