Dr. Lavanya Elluri is an Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems at the Texas A&M University-Central Texas. She received Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston Clear Lake. She has worked for over a decade in the IT industry at reputed companies Infosys and REI Systems. She has led several projects at REI Systems and has extensive work experience with various databases and data warehousing technologies. Also, she has experience working with a wide range of data science and data analytics projects. Her research and teaching interests include data analytics, data science, semantic web, database systems, data privacy and security, text mining, and healthcare IT systems. Her research publications appeared in reputed venues such as IEEE Big data, IEEE cloud, IEEE Access, and Frontiers in Bigdata.
