Dr. Carlos Mauricio Lastre Domínguez has earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Guanajuato. He has conducted research in top-notch research centers across the world. Dr. Lastre-Domínguez is an expert in signal processing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques applied to data sciences. He has published several high-impact papers (JCRs) related to digital signal processing and pattern recognition in signals and images. He has contributed book chapters related to cutting-edge engineering applications and has participated in national and international conferences specialized in Engineering. Dr. Lastre-Domínguez has led and collaborated in projects funded by prestigious educational entities in Mexico. He is a professor and researcher at the Technological Institute of Oaxaca, and he is a member of the IEEE. Dr. Lastre Domínguez holds the category of Level 1 National Researcher in Area VIII: ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT in the National System of Researchers SNII of the National Council of Humanities, Sciences, and Technologies (Conahcyt).
